Why advertisement counts are not live vacancies

The JSA Internet Vacancy Index tracks monthly online advertisement activity within its source coverage. It helps study demand changes, but it is not an employer mandate held by this site or a list of applications you can submit here.

An advertisement may cover several hires or appear across platforms. Retain source, month, geography and seasonal-adjustment status; do not rank incompatible measures together.

Our live opportunities count only verified, authorised and unexpired records. If that count is zero, occupation and budget tools remain available. Official advertisement totals are not represented as site vacancies.
